Quite recently I packed my bags to fly to Munich for a blogger event from Clarks and Gore.
After arriving in Munich we had the pleasure to get to know each other during lunch at Café Glockenspiel, before we set out for a Segway tour with our new Clarks Gore-Tex shoes.
Munich welcomed us with open arms, sunshine and 27°C. It nearly felt like summer instead of fall so that it became pretty hot while we discovered the Frauenkirche and the Hofbräuhaus.
After cruising around town we enjoyed our dinner at “Upper Eat Side”, as well as cold beer. We relished the relaxing atmosphere and whiled away the evening.
On day two we made our way to the Gore-Tex headquarter in Feldkirchen. There we learned a lot about the waterproof and air-permeable membrane that is used by different brands like Clarks.
Additionally we had the chance to get a read into the Gore test lab and saw how different products are tested. High comfort and sustainability are two major goals from Clarks and Gore and converted in a high quality shoe line.
