To discover Bali seems to be like walking in a dream. The religious site of the country is constantly present by countless shrines, Hinduistic and Buddhistic figures as well as sacrificial offerings. Luckily, I visit my friends Julia, Marfert and Urs on Bali. After travelling on my own for four weeks, it feels a bit like coming back home. Not to lose any time, Urs and I start our tour by visiting the Tirta Empul temple in Ubud. To my surprise you´re not allowed to enter the temple without wearing a sarong. To avoid any troubles a priest ties one around me. I don´t know what to think about the traditional dress and get myself into this amazing experiment. Walking through the temple, with dozens of believers, who are performing the holy ablution, leaves me with an inner peace. It´s quite and only the flowing water breaks the silence, while hundreds of visitors are walking through the temple.
