The Fashion Week often means to work hard, write a great amount of texts about the design collections and get up early. The hotel is often far away and it takes a long time to get to the Fashion Week tent. The first show starts at 8 in the morning and during the Fashion Week there are also a lot of appointments: And there are also these moments I really appreciate.
Such moments are linked with very special people. It is the friendly hug by Vreni that welcomes me, the handshake of Heiko who always has a perfectly fitting tie and bag designed by Piquadro and the smile of the sweet Irina and Conny.
The Fashion Weeks are the rare events when we have the chance to see us. We live in different cities of Germany and it is not easy to arrange a meeting because all of us are also travelling a lot.
If you ask me what the Fashion Week in Berlin really means to me, I would never answer that is the fashion or the capital city. For me it’s always the chance to meet and hug cherished friends who have the same hobby.
Even the longest journey to Berlin is worth it because I really love to spend the time with friends working in fashion.
