Last week I received a nice mail from a reader who asked for my favorite beach in El Nido. Most of you may think now that the Hidden Beach or the Secret Beach comes immediately in my mind, but for me it is The 7 Commandos Beach I love the most. Somehow any form of sadness is banned in this place. It was my last stop on tour A, which I did the day before I left this paradise. Imagine a white bed of white sand which gently gets steeper as you move farther inland, surrounded by palm trees. In the middle you will find a small shop where the only resident sells coconuts, cold drinks and some snacks. With a cold beer and a coconut in my hands I climb into a hammock and enjoy a moment of pure, unadulterated peace of mind.
