Travel-Diary-Philippines-Palawan-2

At the moment I’m working on the video diary from my trip to the Philippines. I’d like to present my travel diary today, to share some of the moments which I have photographed.

I start my journey in Manila, where I am lucky and meet new friends at my hotel. Together we discover the city on a jeepney. After two days I leave Manila to go to Banaue, which is located in the north of the Philippines.

Discovering the 3000-year-old rice terraces was the reason for me to visit the country. After a nine-hour bus drive, we arrive at our hotel. I have a balcony from which I can enjoy a first view over the endless rice fields. After we make our way up to the view point, I reach the spot at which Brian Grubb did his wakeboarding ride over the terraces, on top of the mountain. It´s one of these moments that leave me speechless, without any words to describe the beauty of this wonder of the world. +

My next stop brings me to Palawan, an island that is located in the west of the Philippines. Endless beaches, divine rock formations and hidden beaches welcome me with open arms. Luckily I meet new friends again, with whom I can share all of these wonders. Here we spend one night full of reggae music and good food at a bar at the beach.

After leaving Palawan I go back to Manila for a final stop and visit the Philippine Fashion Week for the closing show. Finding the right words for an amazing country like the Philippines seems impossible for me. If you ever have the chance to see any of these places I have seen, you should take it and discover this paradise.
