Instead of searching for the perfect location or picture, it was more about spending time with my friends on my last trip to Barcelona. Right before going to Spain I was excited to spend some days with wonderful food in a special city.
Compared to other journeys my luggage was pretty small. Only the most important things should join me on my trip this time. Even though most of the time I´m well prepared, I always find the perfect location by chance.
Again this time I came up with some amazing spots we had to use for shootings. Even though I didn´t plan anything in advance, it seemed that this city is full of spots that captivate me.
Short after having arrived in our hotel we made our way straight into town for discovering it by night. Our first aim was the Spanish pavilion of the world exhibition in 1929. Each Friday and Saturday during the summer time you can enjoy a mixture of fountains in combination with a light show and music.
Even after all these years this building has lost nothing of it´s beauty from the passed aera. As we join the game of water and lights we decide to come back the following day in the morning to shoot an outfit in front of the pavilion.
Hoping to escape the hordes of tourists during the day time we took the chance to come here as early as possible to get the perfect picture. And we were lucky. The honey colored sand stone, lighted by the rising sun was pretty impressive. Without anybody else we had enough time to enjoy this wonderful place all by ourselves.

And the honey-colored shoes are PERFECT! Got your postcard – did I already tell you that? My life is such a drama-laden whirlwind I can’t remember. I need, NEED to get out of town – Cuba? Italy? Next summer for sure. Are you going to other places in Spain now?
Martin, your burgundy suit looks so amazing against the sandstone steps and building… Spain has many amazing places that you can take pictures… I have seen so many of them through blogging… I can’t wait for it to be my turn to see these places for real… I am going to love all that time I can explore close up… xox
