Floral Print in front of the Colosseum

Central Rome is perfect for exploring, with sites of interest often clustered together. On my journey through the Eternal City I walk to the Piazza Venezia with the Monumento Vittorio Emanuele and the Forum Romanum up to the impressive Colosseum. Completet in 80 AD it was the largest amphitheatre of the Roman Empire and the highlight of my scouting expedition through this breathtaking city. People are staring at me as I leave the hotel in floral printed shorts. Locals are wrapped in large winter coats while I enjoy 23°C in December.
