Autumn has arrived and it´s finally time to wear cozy knit pieces. I love to put on my favorite knit jumper before I go out to walk through the fields of colorful leaves. While normal people decide to go out for a walk at a park close to their home, I went out to fly to Amsterdam for one day.
After visiting Amsterdam for several times I learned, that autumn is my favorite season to explore this town.
It´s not only the combination of different colors in Amsterdam, furthermore, I love to watch the countless numbers of leaves that cover up the water surface of the canals.
If you prefer to spend time in Amsterdam only during the summer days I recommend to explore all the colorful autumn details, that turn this city into a piece of art. If you decide to do a boat trip, get ready to take a seat at the front, to have a closer look at the leaves on the water surface, which are pushed aside, while the boat is sailing. To stay up against the cold breeze I combine the outfit with my new Schott NYC jacket.
After my boat trip, I walk through all the wonderful parks of Amsterdam and stop at the table of two friends, who are playing chess. I take a seat and observe both of them. I can´t stop smiling because it seems like they are already friends for decades, by how they act and talk to each other.
After a hot chocolate at the Hard Rock Cafe, it´s time for me to get my plane back to Germany. Late at night, I made my way back home to Hamburg, after an amazing autumn walk.
Am I crazy? Maybe, but it´s another memory I take with me for the rest of my life!
