Before I will start my next journey from Europe towards Asia, I will show you an outfit we were shooting on our last stay in Tallinn.
With a maximum temperature of 20°C it´s not one of these places on eart that sun lovers have on top of there travel list. Even though I love the heat more than the cold, I had to visit Estonias capital after I stopped by at Saint Petersburg.
Before we arrived in Tallinn I was reading a lot about the town and found out that it´s quite famous for those who love mediaeval times. I´m not a big fan of this aera, but was pretty excited of this place.
It´s cold and windy as we leave our nightbus, coming straight from Saint Petersburg. The town is empty and so it feels like I have it on my own, as I walk through the impressive town gate, straight to the Domberg with my face hidden behind my scarf. It is the walk up the steep hill, to reach the Domberg, along the old town wall and the playful front door of the Schwarzhaeupterhaus that gives me the feeling of being back in the dark age.
On top of the Domberg I discovered a breathtaking viewpoint called Kohtuotsa. All by myself there’s just a seagull who shares the stunning view above downtown Tallinn, the Hiliggeistchurch and the Baltic Sea with me this morning. I just arrived a few hours ago but already feel kind of excited to discover the town finally.
During my stay I came back here, on top of the town, to rest at the viewpoint for several times. After a while I decided to use the location to shoot an outfit. I love the different shades of blue in contrast to the red roofing tiles. One of my favorite sweaters at the moment is the dip dye shirt from Zara I integreted here.
If you ever have the chance to visit Tallinn, even though you never really planned to come around here, take the chance to discover on your own what the city has to offer. May you have the luck to take some time out at Kohtuotsa view point with coffee and a piece of cake while the sun is shining.
